Skylark Tollers is located in North Dakota, where we use our dogs to hunt
upland game. As a hobby, I also show the dogs in conformation and obedience,
but their main reason for being is to hunt! Occasionally we have puppies, and it
is our goal to produce Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers that have the hunting
ability and structure to go a day in the field, and the temperament to be loving
and beloved family pets. Temperament and health are so important to us, and
our puppies are raised with and loved by our children. To meet our dogs, click

8-29-04 At the Gold Rush Field event, Sadie, aka Skylarks Funny Girl WC JH earns her WCI title! This daughter of Pete and Corrie
LOVES the field work! Vicki has done a wonderful job training this live wire! Well done!

8-22-04 Another show, another major for Ruby! Skylark's Red Devil went Winners for an AKC major, and then Best of Opposite Sex
over TWO specials for an additional point. Great show, Kevin and Ruby!

7-25-04 A BIG day for the Skylark dogs at the Region 2 Field tests, the Backyard Classic! Four Skylark dogs earned their Working
Certificates...Can/Int'l CH Skylark's Pistol Pete CD WC, (our Pete!), NSDTRC/Int's CH SHR Skylark's Vermilion Rosea WC VC
(Rosea, handled by Keryl Ashbach), Int'l CH SHR Skylark's Mercury Rising CDX FM WC JH (Curry, handled by Dan Rode), and the
baby Skylark Chive at Water's Edge WC (Chive, handled by Dan Rode). Great job everyone! Also a big accomplishment in that two of
Pete's pups did so well in the field at 7 months of age. Earning her WC was Ember, Vermilion's All Fired Up, handled by Paul Kartes.
And passing the BRT and a crowd favorite for her speed was our Riot, Vermilion Skylark Quiet Riot. Wow, great to see such talented
puppies! And another Cricket grandson also earned his WC at the test, Ranger, Vermilion's Hyland Ranger, who's mom is Skylark
Vermilion Madra Zev. He was handled by Jamie Como and is owned by John Elder.

7-24-04 Ember, (Vermilion's All Fired Up) daughter of Pete and Bet and owned by Paul Kartes and Kathy Koebensky-Como, makes
her show ring debut at a huge supported entry and goes Reserve Winners from the puppy class at 7 months. What a way to start!

CH Skylark's Vermilion Pegasus. Look for this flashy girl in the show ring soon! She'll live with and is co-owned with Kit McGuire.

take a break to mature a bit.

Retriever title, on a very hot weekend. Great work Keryl and Rosie! This title should qualify Rosea for her NSDTRC-USA Versatility
Certificate.

5-31-04 Ruby (Skylark's Red Devil) earns her first CD leg from the Novice A class with a 2nd place in class, and then goes on to get
her first major (4 points) toward her AKC championship! What a way to start a show career, the first show weekend for her and for her
family. Kevin and Ruby sure made us proud that weekend!

5-30-04 Our Ivy ( Can CH Skylark Chasing Rainbows) enters her first AKC show and gets a 4-pt major from the Bred-By class. That's
the way we like to see it done!

NSDTRC-USA Championship title! This is a great accomplishment for the team of Keryl and Rosea! We knew you could do it!
