June 2007...Sam's first points!
Sam and her grandpa Aker.
Sam is the pup from Teddy's litter that we just
could not part with, once we knew how keen a
retriever she was! This dog is so turned on by
anything that flies or moves or any chance to
retrieve or chase... With absolutely no
training, she retrieves right back to hand and
at full speed, which is one of the traits we so
value in Aker. Aker is Teddy's sire and we are
so happy to see his look and behaviors
carrying on even past the first generation. We
are excited to see how Sam turns out as she
matures. She can't stand wrong and has great
balance and movement. Plus she is agile and
athletic just as the breed should be! Oh, and
very sweet and loving with people and other
dogs. A lot of reasons we are glad we kept
this one!
